Had a lovely experience at Café Nero in Sligo. The coffee is excellent, the food is fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly, helpful, and provided great service even when it is busy. It's a perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a coffee break. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for my daily fix ☕😊

Had to try out this new coffee shop in sligo town . The first I impressions was this was a really great looking cafe with lots of different food choices to have with your cuppa .
The seating area near the front of the store is a little tight until I noticed that there was more seating near the back of the cafe . I must say the staff were excellent very welcoming and even agreed to Carry down the sandwich to our table when they were ready . It’s nice to feel genuinely welcomed as that will make us go again . The toasties were excellent , and my tea was brilliant it was not a blend that I have tried before but look forward to a second cup next week .The Mrs ordered a skinny latte which she felt was quite bitter so no 5 stars from her But we won’t hold that bitter cup against this place as we will have to get used to the new beans used in this cafe.
You won’t regret a cup of joe in this place Welcome to sligo guys !!!!

My favourite coffee shop of all time because of its relaxing atmosphere. I've been to other Cafe Neros around Europe and they all have these cozy corners where you may sit and enjoy your cuppa. There are always either books or paintings around, and the design is overall cozy. There are also many rooms here if you prefer to find something further from the entrance.
I am not a fan of coffee, I only order it sometimes. But it's good here - they use Brazilian coffee beans and always ask you when you order if you'd like a mild strength beans or strong.
If you like hot chocolate - I recommend it here. It tastes like real chocolate (if you know what I mean), not like some kind of nesquik drink.

I also totally recommend it as a place if you need to work on your laptop or just sit somewhere quietly. There are 2 toilets and many tables.

The price for coffee is expensive (5.65 euro for a caramel latte or around that). But they have an app where you can get stamps for every purchase and get a free coffee once in a while!

I'd still give it 5 for a cozy atmosphere.

On first impressions, it's nicely fitted out until you go to sit down. By putting in a divider, it makes the seating area very small and a very tight squeeze to get to a table. There is a good selection of cakes and premade sandwiches, croissant and paninis, but the price of these and the coffee is shocking. My daughter had a panini and iced coffee. I had a ham and cheese croissant and a white mocha, and it came to €20.90. My coffee wasn't great. It was lukewarm. Now I know if you overheat the milk, it will make the coffee bitter as it burns the coffee, but this wasn't nice. You could barely taste the coffee. I think it's very expensive for pre-made food and extremely expensive for coffee, not up to par.

Really friendly baristas, great seasonal coffee (Florentine). Good selection of bakery items and sandwiches/wraps.

Lots of comfortable seating inside with outlets for charging everywhere - really helpful!
